It was the Fall of 1987 when I decided to build the camp. My son Jason along with some friends managed to have it up and livable by November 15, that's the opening day of Deer Season in Michigan! It was later that year and I had to have my second back operation!

Then in the fall of 2003, someone managed to drive a mile into the woods, find our camp and then burn it down just for his fun?
